And now for something completely different

by AJ Mars on October 10, 2011

Howdy folks.
I said I would introduce you to a good friend of mine who I think is quite the artist and today he is going to say hello. In Rude’s own words:

“Hey guys, Introductory blog post here, For those of you who know me already, I’ll be posting things I find interesting here, and will be trying to write up a weekly article/blog/tutorial/whatever here, so I’ll have a lot more insight for people wondering just what I am on about half the time, and also I’ll try to reveal a few of the tricks I know that have people enthused about my stuff, well, enough to get where I am coming from with it anyhow.I’ll also probably be using this to store uplore on any of my old, abandoned or ongoing ideas here as well.

Now, for those of you who don’t know me all of that well,I am a freelance artist. While I draw a wide range of things for my own and other’s amusement, I tend to draw a lot of fetish and anthro art, as it draws in a lot of viewers….and lines my pocketsI go by a small handful of names online, but mostly Rude, or DarkHeartsClub.

I am short, pale and red haired, most easily identified by my long ponytail and general affinity for drab clothes with not so drab accessories. I am a pansexual, meaning I do not feel attraction based on gender, but more on personality.I am a genderfluid genderqueerand generally do not feel I can consider myself either male or female, even though at times I tend to gravitate more towards oneor the other. I go through periods of dysphoria, but compared to most I consider them quite mild.
I grew up in NJ and just recently moved back to it. Regardless of what others may have to say, it is a nice place to liveand I feel that the cultural depth of being both a coastal state and part of the trisate have affected it, and myself severely. (ed. In a good way, I think. :p)

Honestly guys I am pretty boned at the moment for things to put in here at the moment, but HEY that is what this blog is going to be for right? So no use in saying everything right off the bat.
anyway that’s all for this post, catch you next week!!”

So I said hello last week, he said hello this week. We’re shy, we start slow, it takes us a little bit to get comfortable and dance, but soon enough we’ll be out on the floor shaking our groove thang! Catch you later, er tomorrow for me, eep!

Start spreading the New

by AJ Mars on October 4, 2011

I recently announced I would be doing Tuesday updates. Well, it’s 11:22 PM my local time, so it’s still Tuesday for a little longer, woot! I had a good discussion with a buddy of mine about art and life in general; it was a good thing. We can look forward to hearing from him soon and get to see some  of his awesome artwork. If all goes well it will become a feature here or on one of our brother sites. Sure, why not brother site instead of sister site? Watch out, there might be some interesting discussions about gender ahead :p

I don’t want to have the first Tuesday post simply a post about posts to come, so I figure I will post some alliteration fun I had a while back. Wow, that was a lot of posts in one sentence, but I assure you, there is only one post in this post. Perhaps there will be a second post tomorrow. :) I’ve no idea what the following means if anything at all, I just found it among the flotsam of my files. Thanks for watching and stay tuned for design changes, new features and other shtuff. (yes, shtuff)

alone afraid abandoned
ashamed adrift ascension
admittedly aching agonizing
alienated, asking absolute answers

and all ail
and all ail

berating bullying believers
blood-shedding bellicose bankers
bereft brazen beastly beaters
bearing bills behind bars
behind bars
behind bars

cold calculating cataclysm
carefully crafted condescension
can’t cut corners condemnation
crazy criminal civilization
clearing compassion
clearing compassion

down dreadful darkness
dreary doe-eyed denizens
dance denied
didn’t dare decline
dull dreams
designer
dementia

June 16, 2011

I’m having one of those, “I’m gonna whip this site into shape,” moments again. Expect this place to become raw, open, and a hell of a lot more active. I’ve got stories brewing and 30 days ideas on the horizon too. Gotta sleep now, catch you all later.

Music: Musing_alpha

November 19, 2010

I figured I would share another rough cut piece with you this Friday.  It was born from me starting to figure out the arpeggiator feature in Logic Pro.  If that doesn’t mean anything to you, just know that its a dreamy piano with lots of motion.  Hope this Friday finds you all well, and you [...]

Swimming Lesson-30 Days of Writing:Mystical Creatures-Day 02

November 11, 2010

“Daddy, can you read the story again?” “Of course, my little princess.” John read the story in a soft voice and said all the right words, but his mind was elsewhere.  Elsa was sick and no doctor in the land could make her better. He walked to his own room when she fell asleep, his [...]

Me and Betsy 30 Days of Writing:Mythical Creatures Day 01

November 10, 2010

There was always something different about Betsy. Mr. Tengu, the animal doctor, told me that Betsy’s momma, my Pa’s favorite horse, was hurt real bad in her tummy when Betsy was born, so bad that she couldn’t have any more little horsies. Betsy almost didn’t make it, but Mr. Tengu worked really hard and made [...]

30 Days of Writing: Mystical Creatures

November 9, 2010

This idea comes from my friend Ashley. She said: Think of 30 different mystical creatures and every day write a story with that one creature. . . mermaids, faeries, goblins, unicorns. . . as many as you can find and make sure you don’t repeat any, every day has to be a new one. That [...]

30 Days of Reading: Web Design

November 2, 2010

This 30 Day task is a rather pragmatic and simple one: I will read about web design for 30 minutes every day for the next 30 days.  The reason for this is simple yet multi-purposed.  Firstly, I will learn more about web design to improve this site and increase your enjoyment. Secondly, I will have [...]
